Hitting the Targets

Finding the right target for a disease is like hitting a bullseye. Emerging Targets and Therapeutic Approaches focuses on exploring novel targets against cancer, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, and a range of other indications. The program will cover an exciting range of topics, including the emerging landscape, re-invigorating old targets with new approaches, target discovery and validation, and more! We are inviting speaking proposals to showcase investigations into the variety of novel and emerging targets.

Coverage will include, but is not limited to:

Emerging Target Landscape
- Novel/emerging targets—C2276, Dectin-2, TREM1/TREM2, LILIB1/LILIB2, STING, TROP2, HER3, EGFR3, Nectin-4, Mesothelin, CD47, LAG3
- What are the challenges that novel/new targets can address?
- Are these emerging targets addressing new indications?
- How do you find the next emerging target?

Reinvigorating Old Targets with New Approaches
- CDLN18.2, CLDN6, GPC, TLR, HER2, CEA, Floate Receptor, KRAS, CD47
- Why go after these old-but-new-again targets?
- Are they addressing new indications?
- Are they used in combination therapies?

Target Discovery & Validation
- Future of target discovery—how will new technologies change the way targets are discovered?
- Understanding, accounting for, and harnessing target heterogeneity

Targets for Applications beyond Oncology
- Inflammatory diseases
- Autoimmune Diseases
- How can emerging targets help close the gap in health disparities?

The deadline for priority consideration is 29 March 2024.

All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
