Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s 10th Annual
Protein Stability & Formulation
Improving Efficacy and Mitigating Immunogenicity Risks
16 November 2023
There are many challenges associated with therapeutic proteins stability in the biopharmaceutical industry today, in particular, aggregation, chemical and physical degradation affecting the formulation stability, as well as the highly complex and novel modalities and the different route of administrations which may cause immunogenicity risks. The 10th Annual Protein Stability & Formulation conference will present case studies on how companies are assessing, predicting, and overcoming these challenges using biophysical methods, physico-chemical techniques, as well as high-throughput, computational, and AI approaches.
Coverage will include, but is not limited to:
- Biophysical and Physico-Chemical Approaches for Safety and Stability Evaluation
- Characterizing aggregation and predicting immunogenicity risks
- Analytics for assessing protein folding, dynamics, protein-excipient interactions, and aggregation propensity
- Thermal and chemical stability during long term storage and end-to-end delivery
- High-Throughput, Computational, and AI Approaches to Stability Prediction and Formulation Screening
- Integration of chromatograms, glycan mapping, peak analysis, and machine learning
- High-throughput methods for formulation screening
- Administration Challenges for High Concentration, Subcutaneous Formulations
- Subcutaneous formulation attributes
- Administration and Immunogenicity Risks
- Formulation Development for Novel and Complex Biologics
- Viral particles, nucleic acids, and nanoparticles – LNP, AAV, EVs and more
- Co-formulations
- Intra-ocular Biologics
- Inhalation Biologics
The deadline for priority consideration is 31 March 2023.
All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
