Training Seminar & Short Course Proposals
CHI Short Courses and Training Seminars
In addition to conference tracks, CHI conferences feature tutorial-style seminars on topics related to the host conference programmes. Short Courses are 2 to 3 hours in duration, and these are held either the day before the start of the main conference or in the evenings; Training Seminars are 1 to 1.5 days scheduled either the day before the meeting or in parallel with main conference tracks.
We are seeking proposals from instructors interested in leading these classes in the 2026–2027 conference season. Instructor candidates should have prior teaching experience and slides and/or materials available that can be used for handbook content distributed electronically to attendees.
We recommend that these Short Courses and Training Seminars be structured to attract a broad audience to ensure they are relevant to the diverse organisations and functions represented at our conferences.
