Targeting Innate Immunity track banner

Most of the immunomodulatory approaches today are focused on inhibiting or activating T cell responses. Conversely, the innate immune system is relatively untapped, opening up new possibilities to identify new cells, molecules and targets that could be exploited for the next generation of immunotherapeutics.

The Inaugural Targeting Innate Immunity program invites industry and academic researchers to deepen our understanding of the biology of innate immunity, explore engineering strategies to harness the power of the innate immune cells, and present their latest programs in the clinic.

Coverage will include, but is not limited to:

  • Engineering strategies for:
    • NK
    • NKT cells
    • Gammadelta T cells
    • Macrophages
    • Dendritic cells
    • Myeloid cells
  • Blocking immune checkpoints expressed on DCs, macrophages, NK cells, NKT cells and gammadelta T cells to reverse anti-tumor activity
  • Understanding the role of innate immune cells in tumor microenvironment
  • Combining innate immune cell-based therapy with immune checkpoint manipulation, oncolytic virus therapy, agonist immunotherapy
  • Early clinical updates for innate cell therapies

If you would like to submit a proposal to give a presentation at this meeting, please click here.

The deadline for priority consideration is 10 April 2020.

All proposals are subject to review by session chairpersons and/or the Scientific Advisory Committee to ensure the overall quality of the conference program. Additionally, as per Cambridge Healthtech Institute’s policy, a select number of vendors and consultants who provide products and services will be offered opportunities for podium presentation slots based on a variety of Corporate Sponsorships.
